Developer Support
Developer support is available through a variety of complimentary online sources or directly from technical experts through the purchase of developer support cases available individually or as part of membership in the Adobe Solution Partner Program or the Adobe Enterprise Developer Program for LiveCycle or Flex. The programs provide timely product information and developer support, as well as the chance to participate in a variety of co-marketing opportunities with Adobe, including a listing in the Adobe Partner Finder.
Below is a complete listing of the support resources available to developers working with Adobe products.
The Adobe Enterprise Developer Program (sold as a one-year support subscription) enables you to explore the Adobe LiveCycle software to build new solutions on your own machine. A one-year subscription entitles members to an individual licensed copy of all supported Adobe LiveCycle software. Members also receive one year of unlimited e-mail-based developer support. This extended support helps reduce testing time and troubleshooting. AEDP members will be able to work more productively and enjoy the convenience of developing and testing on their own equipment allowing them to work more efficiently, spend less time uploading applications and restarting servers.
Already a member of the Adobe Solution Partner Program? Members of the Adobe Solution Partner Program at the Premium level receive support cases along with a variety of other benefits. To use one of your cases, please log in for submission information. Members who have used all their support cases may purchase additional cases.
Not a member? Purchase single or multi-pack developer support cases (for use on select desktop SDKs only). If you are not a member of a developer partner program, you can purchase developer cases individually ($195) or in packs of five ($895) or ten ($1695) cases. To purchase support cases, please call 800-685-3510.
Software Development Kits and Downloads The Downloads page includes links to software development kits (SDKs). SDKs contain reference manuals, specifications and protocols, technical notes, sample code, and/or development tools — a complete tool set for taking full advantage of Adobe technology.
Developer Knowledgebase
The Developer Knowledgebase contains information for developers that is not available in the SDK documentation. The Knowledgebase can be searched, or browsed by topic. Included are "How To" and "Known Issue" articles for Acrobat, FrameMaker, GoLive, InDesign, SVG, and XMP technologies. Additional topics will be added periodically.
Interactive Forums for Developers Adobe's User to User forums include several forums that were created just for developers and scripters. New forums are being added on a regular basis.
Feedback The Feedback Form is intended for developers who wish to submit feedback, bugs, and/or enhancement requests against any API, documentation, or samples found in this section.
