Evolytics' Cloud Connector for Google Analytics 4 uses Google's Measurement Protocol to send web tracking data to Google Analytics 4 properties from a Server Side Launch property.

After installing the extension, simply add the GA4 Measurement ID, API Secret & Client ID on the Configuration screen (leave the endpoint settings as the default). Then, save the extension to a library - that's it!

To send data from an XDM event to Google Analytics, select the extension's Send Data GA4 action in your rule and set up the parameters to be sent. The extension includes 40 predefined parameters in a drop-down list, saving you from repeatedly looking parameters up in the Measurement Protocol documentation.

The extension also ships with 30 preconfigured Templates that represent common GA API calls. You can also define your own templates to streamline the data collection needs for your organization.

NOTE: This extension is intended for use with Google Analytics 4, not Universal Analytics. If you desire to connect to Universal Analytics, please use our separate extension called ”Cloud Connector for Google Analytics” which will facilitate this connection.
