Commerce delivers new capabilities in Search, B2B, and Security
Adobe Commerce continues to ship meaningful product updates, with new capabilities now available across AI-powered search and cloud security.
June 24, 2026
Semantic Search is now generally available across Adobe Commerce on Cloud (PaaS), Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service, and Adobe Commerce Optimizer, included at no additional cost as part of Live Search and enabled directly from the Commerce Admin. Using AI to understand shopper intent rather than just keyword matching, it delivers more relevant results, higher conversion, and fewer zero-result searches.
For Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service and Adobe Commerce Optimizer customers, Semantic Search is rolling out as the default search experience for eligible English-language catalogs. PaaS customers can enable it directly from the Commerce Admin through a simple toggle in Live Search Settings, no Adobe intervention required.
Adobe introduced Advanced Security for Adobe Commerce on Cloud (PaaS) this month, a new offering that gives cloud customers a dedicated additional layer of protection for their hosted environments. Advanced security includes the following capabilities:
- Layer 7 DDoS Protection — absorbs application-layer traffic floods at the Fastly edge before they hit the origin
- Bot Management — blocks credential stuffing, card testing, inventory hoarding, and scraping while letting real users through
Also new are four B2B drop-in components rounding out the Commerce release: Requisition List Sharing allows B2B buyers to share and manage purchasing lists across their organization, Seller-Assisted Buying supports guided purchasing experiences with built-in buyer consent controls and admin audit capabilities, Company Hierarchies enables nested company structures for more flexible enterprise account management, and Quick Ordering and Grid Ordering let buyers add products directly by SKU or from a product grid, making bulk purchasing faster. Explore the details and see how these additions can strengthen your B2B pipeline conversations.

We're looking for your App Builder success stories.
If you've helped a customer implement Adobe Commerce extensibility with App Builder, we want to capture the use cases, architecture, and outcomes. We'll co-brand the resulting case study (slides or blog post) with your firm's name and give you a live slot on one of our monthly field enablement calls to present directly to our sales teams.
